One night at Bill’s

Happy Friday everyone! Bet you’re all as relieved as me that the weekend is finally here! Although as we all know, Thursday has become the new Friday so in true spirit I met up with some old colleagues last night for some drinks and dinner around Covent Garden.

We started off at Verve in Leicester Square for a pre-drink and a good catch up! For dinner we picked Bill’s, which is hidden away in St. Martins Courtyard.

As most people I’m spending my January watching what I eat and trying to cut down on the calorific drinks so when choosing from the menu I went about it in a bit of an unconventional way.

For my starter I went for a side, steamed broccoli stems with chilli and sesame seeds. This might sound a bit boring but I can assure you it was lovely!

The main however was picked from the Starters menu, but when it arrived it quickly became obvious that it would be more than filling. I went for the butternut squash soup, teamed with some amazing toasted olive bread.

If you haven’t been to Bill’s yet I would highly recommend it, great food, staff and atmosphere!

After dinner we popped back to Leicester Square for a few more drinks (gin and slimline tonic of course) and a lot off giggles! I must say I miss my ladies and our old office antics!

Have a lovely Friday everyone!
