A night of Madness
Happy Tuesday everyone, hope the start to your week is going smoothly!
I had an event on in Woking on Saturday and immediately stumbled over a style dilemma I know every girl faces rather frequently through their lives… A closet full of clothes and nothing to wear! So my natural instinct told me.. to Topshop we go!
And here is the end result! Crop top, skirt, boots and necklace all from Toppers, teamed with a studded bag from Primark!
I totally fell in love with this skirt when I spotted it and instantly knew I’d be building the outfit to match. The lace crop top goes with the girlyness (not a word I think) of the skirt and to add a bit more edge and making sure my outfit stood out in a crowd I teamed it with some chunky boots and studded necklace and bag.
For my nails I went with an updated version of my last nail post, adding a caviar looking layer of black beads to my ring fingers and keeping with my fluro bright orange colour on the rest to contrast the blue skirt.
Now on to the event.. There was a Woking in the Park event on in the day which then moved on to an after party, arranged by WUWO, in the Lighthouse venue in town through the night.. I’m not much for the festival thing so I went straight to the nightly celebrations!
For the entertainment of the night there was a Madness tribute act on, which was actually really good despite the fact I hadn’t really heard that many Madness songs before!
After a lovely night with plenty of drinks and a bit of dancing, me and the bf ended the night with a take away pizza and a taxi home! Perfect!
